We had the pleasure of meeting Sheila Sullivan with the Sarasota K9 Search & Rescue team this month. Her team assists public safety agencies in the search and rescue of missing/lost children, walk-away elderly persons, and human remains detection.
Any incident where a coordinated search using air scent, tracking/trailing or cadaver dogs is needed, her team jumps into action. Her highly trained dogs need shade while on a boat and searching the waters of Florida. We saw an opportunity to do the right thing and help this cause.
The team from Sebba Shade met her at the boat, got her set up, and donated a Sebba Shade 6x9 to shade her team and her dogs.
