GENESIS: BORN FROM THE GALE

From High-Altitude Racing to High-Speed Boating

Sebba Shade was forged in professional kiteboarding, where airframes must withstand 50-knot shears and violent impacts. We adapted this high-pressure technology for the marine environment, creating a canopy that doesn't just block the sun—it defies the wind.

In a world where airframe deformation means a loss of control, our pedigree ensures a stable aerodynamic profile that stays rock-solid at 45 MPH.

DUAL-LAYER FRAME ARCHITECTURE: THE OUTER SHELL

160g Structural Composite & Hoop Strength

Rigidity begins with the AeroCasing™ Exoskeleton—a high-tenacity outer shell serving as the primary load-bearing backbone. Utilizing a 160g structural composite of high-density polyester, this shell replaces heavy metal with engineered pressure.

Engineered with a specialized 150x250 Cross-Weave, the shell is designed specifically to manage "Hoop Stress"—the circumferential force that deforms standard inflatables. Our 250D "Muscles" wrap around the tube’s diameter, allowing the frame to hold 8.0 PSI with zero deformation. Impregnated with specialized resins, this "Hard Finish" composite remains crisp and rigid even in 20-knot gusts at wide-open throttle.

The image reveals the internal polyether-based TPU bladder emerging from the high-tenacity 150x250 weave AeroCasing™ exoskeleton, demonstrating the structural engineering between the internal pressure engine and the protective outer shell.

DUAL-LAYER FRAME ARCHITECTURE: THE INNER CORE

Molecular Fusion & Pressure Retention

The Sebba Shade utilizes a sophisticated Two-Part Airframe. If the AeroCasing™ is the exoskeleton, the Sebba-Pro TPU Core is the internal pressure engine. This dual-layer construction allows the system to balance extreme flight-weight efficiency with the structural rigidity of a permanent fixture.

As seen in the airframe cross-section, the internal TPU bladder is housed within the high-tenacity outer shell. Unlike standard PVC—which leaches plasticizers and becomes brittle—our TPU core remains molecularly stable and hydrolysis-resistant. Joined via RF (Radio Frequency) Fusion-Welding, the core features molecular bonds stronger than the material itself. This synergy ensures the outer armor handles physical abuse while the internal core maintains the "8.0 PSI Sweet Zone" for days without leakage.

MACH-SHIELD™ 45 | STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY

Anti-Tear, Anti-Fade, and Zero Flapping

Standard marine canvas stretches, fades, and degrades. The Mach-Shield™ 45 utilizes a heavy-duty, anti-tear 600D Oxford weave engineered to maintain its structural integrity and colorfastness season after season.

When this high-tenacity fabric is pulled drum-tight across the rigid AeroCasing™ airframe, the two components work in perfect synergy. This eliminates high-frequency fabric vibration and the destructive "parachute effect," resulting in a completely silent, no-flop canopy at cruising speeds

MACH-SHIELD™ 45 | ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL

UPF 2000+ & 15°F Thermal Reduction

Most marine shades top out at UPF 50, which is insufficient over highly reflective water. Backed by laboratory-certified AATCC 183 results, the Mach-Shield™ 45 delivers near-total solar radiation blockage.

Beyond UV protection, this heavy 280 GSM density functions as an impenetrable thermal shield. By blocking radiant heat from baking the gelcoat, it reduces ambient deck temperatures by up to 15°F—transforming the deck into a cool, safe refuge under the harshest midday sun.

ZERO-TRACE INTEGRATION

Steel Strength. Zero Trace.

We eliminated heavy metal brackets in favor of a damage-free system. The boat side of the strap utilizes a soft, loop-and-cinch design that secures directly to your existing frame, cleats, or grab rails.

By relying on dynamic tension rather than drilled hardpoints, this system delivers a flawless universal fit for any vessel—from a 17-foot jet boat to a 40-foot center console—without a single permanent modification to your boat.

MULTI-DIRECTIONAL RIGGING

The 16-Point Dyneema® Matrix

The shade side of the strap locks directly into the airframe using Dyneema®—a marine-grade fiber 15x stronger than steel yet light enough to float.

While you only need four straps to lock the canopy down, the AeroCasing™ is engineered with 16 strategically placed pigtail connection points. This gives you the freedom to choose the perfect anchor points for your specific boat layout.

Simply unclip and connect to different pigtails to shift the canopy bow, aft, port, or starboard as the sun moves.

Technical FAQ

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS

The Anatomy of Sebba Shade

Proprietary Feature Performance Benefit
AeroCasing™ Exoskeleton
(8.0 PSI)
Replaces heavy, corrosive metal poles with a high-pressure airframe that absorbs wind gusts without bending or snapping, providing the structural rigidity of steel with the weight of air.
Mach-Shield™ 45 Canopy
(280 GSM, 600D, 74T Oxford Weave)
This heavy-duty, high-tenacity polyester resists stretching, dampens high-frequency vibrations, and prevents the loud, destructive "parachute effect" at high speeds.
Vaulted Aerodynamic Silhouette
("Radiused Down" Ends)
Angles the short sides of the frame downward to dramatically increase the shadow footprint and allow wind to smoothly slide over the canopy at 45 mph. It also provides superior vertical clearance so passengers can stand naturally.
16-Point Dyneema® Rigging
& Adjustable Straps
Delivers 360° multi-directional coverage by allowing users to instantly reposition the canopy to the bow, aft, port, or starboard sides as the sun moves.
Sebba-Pro TPU Bladders

Creates a 100% metal-free system that requires no destructive drilling, no heavy D-rings, and guarantees no rusted hardware or scratched gelcoats.
AeroLink™ Connectors
& Single Boston Valve
Internal conduits bridge the airflow from the perimeter tube to the struts, allowing the entire three-bladder system to be synchronized, inflated, and rapidly deflated through one central valve.
High-Pressure Dual-Action Pump Inflates the shade on both the up and down strokes, allowing for a rapid, roughly 60-second inflation time without needing to rely on an electric pump.
UPF 50+ UV Treatment
